Te-has

Well we made it to Texas... best part of the south, the speed limit is 75... which is amazeballs. Us silly northerners stick with the 65 mph limit, well you don't know what you've been missing. We left Tennessee  this morning after getting to spend some time with Mom's brother Bob and his family outside of Memphis. Great to catch up with family that we have not seen in almost 10 years! Hard to believe it's been so long. Left this morning to head out to get to our family friend's house outside of Dallas by tonight. Apparently Texas never rains in August but yet it is raining today. We're hanging out for a bit tonight and tomorrow before heading down to Austin tomorrow afternoon to spend a few days in Texas. I never realized it really doesn't take that long to get pretty far.  Mom's looking forward to being able to unload the car and sit still for a couple of days.
